Drader manufactures plastic welding rod out of high quality virgin resins. Drader’s stock rod comes on cardboard spools of 10 pounds each and is UV protected. Standard diameter is 5/32” (4mm). Drader also manufactures numerous colors, sizes and types of plastic welding wire for clients throughout the world. This custom welding rod uses Drader’s own resins or customer-supplied material. Companies often send Drader their own resins to ensure the welding rod matches the parent plastic material. Drader's minimum order remains at 10 pounds.

Drader Manufacturing recently invests in new equipment and technology in order to augment its plastic welding rod business. The new equipment increases Drader’s capacity and the new technology assists Drader to maintain even tighter tolerances during rod production. Drader's welding rod can be used with most fabrication type plastic welders that are on the market today.
